Would you know the button combination for test mode on a LDS5540ST? There is no “Start” button on the panel. I’m getting an HE error at the end of the wash. Heater element is new so try to figure out what else to check

I did all of this except the control board. Great results for 2 months, now ice is frozen over again and same issues as before. Is replacing the control board the final step I need or did I damage the new parts I already replaced by not replacing the control board the first time?

What do the last two digits on some boards mean? I have an 04 on my board, but I see others referenced that are 07 or 03, and are they all compatible

My ice maker went out and then the next day the fridge started making a really loud noise coming from the back freezer. tried unplugging for 24 hours and this helped for a day with the noise but no ice production has returned. I did a deep dive and went through all of the diagnostic codes and all came up clean. water comes from the water dispenser. changed the water filter as well. noise is coming from the back motor/fan in the freezer by the condenser. Freezer also starting having some frost as well. Fridge and freezer appear to be holding temperatures appropriately. any idea on how to trouble shoot further so i can order the correct part/parts? would the water valve not working cause the fan/motor issues

My icemaker fan runs when I use system test #50. But it doesn't run (well or at all) during normal operations. Is this a bad incemaker fan, motor, or board?

My start relay got busted, and I opened it for fun. Can anyone explain to me what the round disk (at 3:54) is and what does it do? Because I decided to peek inside the starter relay for fun and found the disc and I'm not familiar with its use. Thanks in advance. :)

Its sad that whirpool knows there is a huge issue in their dryer timer knobs and they dont replace it if ur warranty is out.

Changed all 4 thermistors, all fans are running, condenser is cleaned.compressor is running. Freezer will not get below 29°F. Another not the 10 awg is too small it will strip all conductors. It should only be used to score the conductor cover.

Did it move when you took the tape off?

My GE ice maker is not filling. Replaced the icemaker, didn't fix it. Replaced the dual water valve, didn't fix it. Your video was helpful in this. What else can I try? The water dispenser is working, but no luck getting water into the ice maker.

I emptied my ice maker and later went back for more ice and it had not produced anymore. I tried resetting and still no ice. I also removed the water filter and reinstalled the same filter because I’m not due to buy another filter until November. Do you have a solution to my situation?

I got the fridge reading the chip finally but yes it stores the old info so my new filter shows 3%. i'm fine just marking my calendar for replacement if when its down to zero it doesn't lock you out. Anyone know ??

Please help. My thermostat is showing continuity at room temp. Bought a new one and the new one is doing the same. I have a 55-5304521781 frodgidair. Thermostats has FR-5 57/43 on it. Evap coils keep freezing over. Heater has continuity and measuring 30+ olms

The new part is bigger than the original. Probably to make is stronger. FYI you must trim about a match width of each end of the spring or it will not work properly and make a popping noise when closed. Your welcome!

Would a faulty evaporator fan motor also cause the ice maker to not make ice?

Fixed my Samsung washer thanks to this video. Very well explained how to remove old and install new. The only thing missing was explaining how to remove the round turning knob. Otherwise great video and saved me hundreds of dollars.

Excellent video! Also, Samsung’s ice maker design is terrible. I will buy any other brand first before buying another Samsung.

But what if the shaft broke off with the knob?

Do u have video for the bottom ice maker replacement no error code so I’ll take a chance on it being the ice maker same model as this I already did top it’s garbage I keep it off I’ll prob buy different fridge not a Samsung but would like to swap out maker

Our older french door Samsung will only turn the interior light on when the left door is opened. The right door does not trigger the light. So we know the bulbs work. Is it likely a reed switch for the right door? Will one switch being bad affect the cooling/fan?

Is there another fan in the freezer of this model? The sound we heard of a fan hitting ice sounded like it was coming from the lower compartment. Thank you.

Great video! I recently replaced the broil element on my LG LRE30453ST Oven (Thanks PartsDr!). Yesterday, I was baking and the food remained uncooked, after the display showed 330 degrees for 45 min. I had set it to 350. After removing the cover, checking the bake & broil elements, this is what I found: The bake element turns on (230V) for about 7-8 seconds and turns off. The broil element turns red hot whenever the bake element is off, and after about 2-3 mins, it repeats this cycle. The temperature is probably correct, since the temp sensor is near the top beside the broil element. Since the elements appear to work fine, I though of the control board, but I am getting no errors on the display at all. Any thoughts?

My water line is on the bottom. Is it also connected with a clip?
